That's a Wrap!
That's a Wrap!
Gift Wrapping, There is something special about a thoughtfully wrapped gift don't you think? So this year we are putting a little extra time and creativity into it. Obviously you do not have to do this for all packages but it puts extra meaning into it for the giver and receiver. Perhaps someone you know has had a hard year and you'd like to give them something unique and bring a smile to their face. Or someone had a special event happen this year like a graduation or a wedding. No matter what the cost of the gift it can be wrapped in extravagant meaning and thoughtfulness.
We are far from finishing our wrapping this year but here's a good start and a few ideas to kick-start your wrapping season. Bonus: these look great as Christmas decor under the tree and around the home, this will surely make you Love Your Nest!
XOXO

Here's a few packages I have so far:
Supplies: brown and white craft paper, twine (natural and white), sticks from the yard, vintage cookie cutters, gift tag for star cut out, paint, leftover burlap ribbon, cardboard, and rhinestones that I had.
White paper twine and a vintage star cookie cutter.
White string, gift tag cut into a star.
Burlap ribbon (I saved from a blanket packaging) glued on package, cardboard for trunk and top of tree.
Small twigs and rhinestones glued onto package and a gold pen for lines.
Twig wrapped partially white string, white paint for tree branches and black paint for splatter (splattered with a toothbrush)
White craft paper cut into a triangle and accordion folded, then while still folded cut a hole into the center (through all layers except tree top layer) and put a string through the center... tied on the back of package.
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed creating it.
